Everybody deserves something for Christmas especially the ones that get less presents than others. The St Anne’s food bank (part of the Methodist church on church road) decided to ask people to bring in some teddies or biscuits something like that and they would give it to people who can’t afford presents. In return of giving them something they gave us a small Lego police boat to make! We found out about this at AKS’s carol service.
On Saturday, I played my very first hockey match! We were against Preston Hockey Club and we won. I was really nervous because A, it was raining, B, it was my first hockey match and C, I'm not sure if I've got another reason. There was one extra in the B team so we kept switching places. I started of as a reserve (the first one waiting to be switched) and changed to mid then reserve then forward. The others in team B were: Tommy, Kirtika, Alfie, Priyanka, Victoria, Grace, Hugo and me. Dad told me that he thought my reverse pass (weak side pass) was really good. We won 3-1 and I nearly scored at the end but I missed. Then we went inside to have hot chocolate and biscuits. I was surprised we won since it was my first hockey match.
