During the Christmas holidays, we went to visit the welshies for three days. On the second day we went down coal mine. We had to wait about an hour before we went down. The instructor told us to follow a yellow line to somewhere else. Then some other instructors came and helped us with the gear. We wore a helmet, light and carried a gas mask for just in case. When we finally went down the mine it was total darkness, if our lights were turned off. There were doors to make it easier to breathe, two wires that made ringing sounds to communicate. But because of those wires, there was a fire in the mine. I can't remember when but it was caused by friction. By the time we got up it was sadly raining so we went to the museum about the mine. We all had an interesting day.
