I'm surprised that when it was my first time driving on a racing cart alone, I only crashed twice! When I went off first, my dad stayed so that if I crashed he could come to get me but I didn't! Soon I was getting the hang of it and taking over people. Then at the second lap I went on the grass when I was passing a very sharp curve but I got out alone. After a couple of laps I crashed while taking over someone; but there wasn't enough room to get out and the grass was too thick.I Luckily one of the worker came to help me. When we finished I put the car away but when my mum parked her cart a person crashed into her. She was not happy because he did not say sorry and she was worried about Sam! Dad had to calm her down. As soon as we stopped Sam started crying and saying "More racing car!"
I have been looking at lots of things on our map next to the kitchen table. Here is a list of of the things I do:
Come and hear the tale of yesterday! I went to a hotel at Central with very delicious food and desserts. I ate three sushies, a breadstick and a slice of pork. For dessert I had a scoop of lime ice cream with choclate chip and caramel sauce and I also had a mango thing which I don't know what it is called. But everything didn't taste, well um as tasty as usual. I have been reading lots of books and all of them are mainly mystery or adventure but some were comedy. The book I want to talk about is Secret Seven Win Through and was written by Enid Blyton. The main characters are Peter ( a boy ), Janet ( a girl ), Pam( a girl ), Barbara( a girl ), Jack( a boy ), George( a boy ), Scamper( a dog) and Colin( a boy ). This book is about the Secret 7 finding a new meeting place and they try catch a person named Albert who has been using their meeting place. It was funny when Peter and Janet went scarecrow hunting. It was a very good book, so I would give it 10 stars. Now I want to write my own mystery story. I am doing a art project like the one we did in school; can you guess? No, no, YES! It was the Vincent Van Gough painting! But slightly different, instead we painted the back ground in stripes not dots. We used dots to make texture on the painting like Van Gogh did. And I didn't do a vase. I did some pink lilies and Zoe did some gerberas. If you want to make a painting using Van Gough style this is how. You will need:
How to make it:
If you want you can frame it. We chose the flowers by research but you can use any way you want. I learnt that Lillie's have six petals and come in orange , white, light pink or dark pink. I found out that gerberas can be yellow, orange, pink or red and they have yellow or black inside. Zoe did a vase on a table but mine was on the grass. Instead of us painting on paper we did it on old picture frames like what artists did when they had no more paper. We just finished finished our paintings today. |
