BBC Radio Two did a five hundred word competition and if you don't know about it well I'll explain it to you. All you had to do was write a story that has a maximum of five hundred words. I have no idea about the results yet but I entered and wrote a story called Frostbite Freeze. The hardest part was making up an ending that was interesting and a surprise. It was also hard to make it 500 words. My mum had to help me take out over 200 words because my first draft was over 700 words!
My most favourite paragraph from my story is this one:
"The wind began to howl, the clouds started to turn grey, a huge shadow covered the mountain as if it were a massive grey blanket. Jack felt a shiver go down his spine. He tried to move but he just couldn’t. Stalactites on the roof of the cave seem to shatter as if they were going to fall down. Eventually they did fall and one of the stalactites smashed Jack into a hundred pieces of ice."
